Annie is the founder of Cape Town Retreats and runs holistic Yoga and detoxification retreats in South Africa near Cape Town.
Annie has over 20 years experience with cleansing practices both through diet and various yogic cleansing techniques. After experimenting personally with fasting, detoxification and working with food as medicine she shares what she has learned. She is passionate about her work and is particularly interested in the area of self development though caring for oneself and others. She believes strongly that when we care for ourselves, our lifestyle automatically improves.
Annie teaches Traditional Indian Yoga, a synthesis of Ashtanga
Yoga and Hatha Yoga, based on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras (Ashtanga) and Hatha Yoga Pradipika. She studied in India at Yoga Vidya Gurukul (ashram) under Rishi Dharmajyoti. Annie teaches yoga as a means to develop consciousness and to make the mind body soul connection.
To add to the effectiveness of physical Yoga practice, she works with remedial Pilates to strengthen muscles and to correct structural integrity. She studied under Susan Arena Pepper, former ballerina based in Geneva Switzerland, who developed the Swiss Body Pilates method, and Master teacher Jennifer Paynter who has a deep knowledge of anatomy and functionality of the body.
"I’m Iseut and my goal is to guide you through your life journey. I started my professional life as a PR in a financial company. After 7 years, I realised that what I was doing didn’t feel right deep inside – my heart just wasn’t in it; I was not following my life purpose ! It was quite instinctive to reorientate myself to learn about alternative therapies.
Since I was a child, I have used sophrology, kinesiology, homeopathy, plants, flowers and essentials oils to enhance my well-being. My mom shared her own experiences and passion with me. I became aware that I could find all answers within myself.
It was an obvious to me that I had to learn more about healing. I followed different training courses in therapeutic foot reflexology, acupressure, shiatsu, reiki, nutrition, aromatherapy, kinesiology, yoga, meditation etc.
Since then, I have been busy discovering more and more about the body, the mind, the energy and the soul. Everything lives and intercepts in harmony and symbiosis. For the last 4 years, I have been working as a holistic practitioner. It has allowed me to hone my feelings and intuition and it led me to become the right support and the right channel to my clients.

Energy blockages can hold you back in your life, It is essential to take the time to clear them and be totally empowered. At the same time, I discovered the power of the subconscious. It’s truly wonderful to live with more awareness and to use all opportunities, obstacles ; and experiences to learn something new and to grow.
Life is a journey. The caterpillar-to-butterfly transformation is possible for everyone with the right support and that is exaclty what I would like to share with you !

Ida is your Norwegian hostess and the creator of Free Range Retreats. She will greet you with open arms and make sure you feel cared for during your retreat. She’s exited about sharing her passion and experience for human transformation and wellness, guiding you on your journey towards deep healing, inner connection, self love and increased awareness through various techniques, carefully chosen to fit every retreat, group and individual.
She qualified as a Yoga teacher at Yoga Vidya Gurukul in India in 2007, she’s a Functional Range Mobility Specialist, teaching traditional Hatha and fascia oriented Yoga and mobility classes. As an Alkaline Nutritional Expert, she combines her studies, modern research and personal experience with juice fasting, detoxing, lifestyle and dietary changes to regain health and vitality.
As a facilitator, she combines emotional release exercises, dynamic meditation and breath work sessions with various coaching solutions, to assist you in clearing the clutter that holds you back from stepping into your highest version of yourself.
